A Mother Is Born
In birthing a child, a woman is also reborn. A Mother Blessing honours this as the sacred rite of passage it is: the letting go of who you have been, and the welcoming of the mother you are becoming.
Some women meet this threshold with awe and excitement. Others feel grief, uncertainty, or a quiet mourning for what is being left behind. All of it belongs. There is no right way to cross this threshold, and you were never meant to cross it alone.
This is not only for first time mothers. Every birth is different, and every mother deserves to be witnessed as she meets this threshold again.
Sometimes called a Blessingway, a name that comes from a sacred Navajo ceremony of harmony and protection for life's great transitions. We gather in that spirit, with deep respect for its origins.

A baby shower centres the baby. A Mother Blessing gathers your village around you with love, presence and intention, to share stories, release fears, build trust in your body and offer blessings you can carry into birth and beyond.
