Facilitated by Clint Hooper - Pure Heart Cacao

A deeply restorative Kahuna Bodywork Session — an ancient Hawaiian temple-style massage that merges movement, rhythm, and spirit. This sacred practice invites you to surrender into a flowing dance of energy, allowing the body to release what no longer serves and remember its natural state of harmony.

About the Session

Kahuna Bodywork is not simply a massage — it is a ceremony for the body, mind, and soul. Rooted in the ancient Hawaiian teachings of the Aloha Spirit, Kahuna is a rhythmic, full-body experience performed with flowing movements of the hands, forearms, and elbows. These waves of touch guide the body into a deep meditative state where tension, emotion, and stagnant energy can dissolve.

As the body surrenders into stillness, energy begins to move freely once again — supporting emotional release, stress reduction, improved circulation, detoxification, and heart opening. The result is a profound sense of peace, embodiment, and reconnection with your inner rhythm.

Each session is a unique journey, guided by your energy and the intuitive flow of the practitioner. You may leave feeling grounded and soft, or deeply transformed — each experience unfolds as the medicine your body is ready to receive.

Clint’s Style of Session

Clint’s Ka Huna Bodywork stays true to the traditional Hawaiian temple-style teachings of Mette’s Institute. His approach is simple, clean, and deeply embodied — using long, fluid, forearm-led strokes that create full-body flow and nervous system release.

His sessions focus on:

🪶 Continuous wave-like strokes that melt muscular tension
🪶 Deep relaxation that quiets the mind and anchors you into the body
🪶 Grounded, supportive touch to help the nervous system settle
🪶 Gentle breath guidance to invite softness and presence

Clint holds a calm, grounded masculine presence, anchoring a sacred ceremonial space in which the body is invited to soften, release, and remember. His work honours the depth and integrity of traditional Ka Huna bodywork, offering a profound, oceanic experience that moves beyond massage into ceremony.

This style is ideal for anyone seeking:

🪶 A full-body reset
🪶 Stress relief and deep rest
🪶 Grounding and reconnection with the body
🪶 A nurturing yet strong masculine approach to bodywork

About All Our Group Offerings

Cacao

Cacao (Theobroma cacao) is a sacred plant medicine from Central and South America, traditionally used in ceremony to open the heart, uplift the spirit, and deepen connection.

Unlike common chocolate, ceremonial cacao is a pure raw food, and retains its natural theobromine content — a gentle cardiovascular stimulant that increases blood flow and releases feel-good neurochemicals.

Cacao is not psychoactive but can create a warm, euphoric, heart-centred state when consumed intentionally.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking antidepressant medication, please let us know — we can serve you a half dose or herbal alternative.

Hapé (Rapé) — Sacred Tobacco Snuff

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred shamanic snuff made from finely ground Amazonian tobacco (mapacho) and medicinal herbs.

Traditionally used by Indigenous tribes of Brazil and Peru, it’s a purification medicine that helps to clear the mind, ground the energy, and bring presence to the body.

In our ceremonies, hape is always optional and served in reverence. It can induce a short, grounding experience that may include mild physical effects (tingling, light dizziness, or clearing through the nose/throat).

Not suitable for those who are pregnant, have severe hypertension, or are highly sensitive to tobacco.

Breathwork / Bodywork / Massage

Some events may include breathwork, sound healing, or light touch (massage/bodywork) as part of the journey.

All touch is consensual, trauma-informed, and energetically respectful.

Breathwork can evoke strong physical or emotional releases — please inform facilitators beforehand if you have any physical or mental health concerns such as PTSD, cardiovascular issues, pregnancy, epilepsy, or recent surgery.

Shamanic Drum Journey

A drum journey is an ancient meditative practice used across many cultures to access altered states of awareness through rhythmic drumming.

The steady beat helps the brain shift into theta waves, a state of deep relaxation and intuitive insight.

In this state, you may receive visions, sensations, or symbolic guidance. There is no “right” way to journey — simply lie back, breathe, and let the sound carry you.

Sound Healing

Sound healing uses sacred instruments such as didgeridoo, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and rattles to harmonize the energy body.

These frequencies invite the mind into stillness, allowing the nervous system to recalibrate and the body to release tension.

You may feel vibrations moving through your body, experience warmth, tingling, or emotional release.

There’s no need to “do” anything — simply breathe, receive, and let the sound wash through you.

Accupressure

Acupressure and acupuncture are ancient healing arts that work with the body’s energy meridians to restore flow, relieve tension, and bring balance to the internal organs and emotions.

Gentle pressure (or in some sessions, fine sterile needles) is applied to specific points to release blockages and support the natural self-healing process.

You may feel subtle pulses, warmth, or energy shifts as circulation and chi begin to move.

These sensations are a sign the body is rebalancing — relax and allow the process to unfold.
