Our Newtown temple rates start at $45 per hour for a minimum of two hours, with 30 minutes bump in and bump out included at no extra cost.

Temple Ethos
The Sacred Temple is a heart-led, intentional space that has been blessed in ceremony by our founding facilitators. This space is more than just a room for hire, it is a container of lineage, light codes and ancient remembering.
It's important for us to be aligned with the people we hire the space to and the work being carried out in here.
We seek to collaborate with facilitators and practitioners who are:
- Heart-led and grounded
- Trauma-aware and responsible in their space holding
- Clear in their scope and integrity
- Deeply aligned with spiritual, healing and personal growth practices
This is a shared space of respect, presence and authenticity for both facilitators and those who walk through the door.
Temple Information
Inclusions: The temple comes fully equipped with the below for your use.
Capacity: Up to 16 in circle or 12 laying down, recommended max 8 for breathwork.
Location: 317 King St, Newtown inside Crystal Arcana
Unload: Facilitators can park in the loading bay on Eliza Street for up to 15min to unload.
Parking: We are a 2min walk from Newtown train & bus station. free untimed parking in the area is best found in the residential streets between the Court House Hotel and the Carlisle Hotel. Check the signs for if it is timed.
Break Considerations: If hiring after hours, you will need to arrive before the retail shop closes at 6 or 7pm. Staff will need to access the space 15min before close. Staff also need to access the bathroom every 2hrs and have specific breaks, please factor this into any longer workshops or day retreats. On weekdays staff need access for lunch from: 2.30-3pm and weekends 1:30-2pm.
Sound Proof: The temple space is mostly sound-proof but you can still faintly hear customers in the shop and sirens from the main road from time to time during shop opening hours. You may want to come and experience the space before booking time during shop hours to be sure it suits your needs.

HIRE RATES
Investment
To use our studio, the investment is per hour for a minimum of two hours for a one-off session, or per hour for a minimum of one hour for weekly sessions of up to 8 weeks or more (invoiced weekly).
Weekdays Before 6pm: $45 per hour
Mon-Thu Nights After 6pm: $50 per hour
Weekends Before 6pm: $55 per hour
Fri, Sat Sun After 6pm: $60 per hour
We also include 30 minutes of bump-in and bump-out at no extra cost for your session. For example, if you book 6 pm to 8 pm, you can access the building from 5.30 pm and leave anytime on or before 8.30pm. (60min bump in can be discussed)

This agreement is a living covenant between Crystal Arcana and our Temple Facilitators (You) — the guardians, guides, and spaceholders who help weave this sacred container.
Our intention is to walk in reciprocity: to care for this space as it cares for us, to honour each other’s gifts, and to maintain the integrity and sanctity of The Temple as a shared vessel for the community and the Earth.
The Temple is a living, breathing sanctuary — a place where the sacred meets the everyday. All who enter the building are asked to bring awareness, respect, and heart to every interaction.
As a facilitator, you are both a steward and a guest, holding energy not only for your participants, but for the lineage of all who gather here. Let your arrival be a reminder to drop into the sacred work you are doing.
The Temple may be used for approved ceremonies, healing sessions, circles, workshops, and gatherings that align with the ethos of Crystal Arcana — authenticity, inclusivity, spiritual
integrity, and love.
Leave the space as you wish to find it — clean, cleansed and balanced. Take care of the floors and walls, ensuring that you don’t scratch the wooden floors and mark the walls or doors. (Please place any hard objects on top of a mat or altar cloth.
Hirers agree to cover and cleaning or maintenance fees due to damages or cleaning left for the staff.
The studio will hold any items left behind for up to 14 days. After this time, unclaimed items will be donated or disposed of.
Hirers are welcome to bring their own equipment but must remove it after each session unless otherwise arranged in writing.
After your session, we request that you complete a physical and energetic cleanse of the Temple with mindfulness, something similar to the below;
- Sweep the floor and cleanse the space to clear energy
- Spray yoga mats if used
- Clean the kitchen if used
- Triple check you haved extinguished candles and incense
- Return all items to their original placement, restoring balance
- Offer a moment of gratitude before you close the door — a simple prayer, breath, or gesture of thanks
The space responds to the way it is treated — every act of care contributes to its energy.
Crystal Arcana is both a retail space and a temple on King Street in Newtown. The studio is located inside the shop and has been mostly soundproofed - however, you can hear customers and noise from the main street, such as sirens or party goers from time to time. This is outside of Crystal Arcana’s control and does not constitute grounds for refund or cancellation.

Candles, incense, and similar items may be used, but only in small amounts. Many members of our community have scent sensitivities, so these must be used mindfully and sparingly. All candles and incense must be attended at all times, safely contained, and must not cause marks, residue, smoke damage, or staining. Any damage or additional cleaning required will be charged to the hirer.
Music and sound levels must respect the retail shop, if open and upstairs tenants at all times - although it's pretty sound proof.
No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are permitted on the premises.
Any damage to the studio or equipment will be charged to the hirer.
Hirers must not exceed the studio’s safe capacity and must comply with all fire safety and emergency procedures.
If after hours;
- Please ensure the front shop door remains closed and locked if not staffed during and after your event.
- At the end of your session, guide all attendees to leave together, ensuring that all participants are supervised in the shop space. You may need to wait to pack up your event until they have all left.
- Participants will not be able to purchase anything from the shop unless you have been shown how to process a sale.
- You are responsible for completing the lock-up process and setting the alarm – this is very important.
All hirers must hold current Public Liability Insurance and provide a certificate of currency by emailing it to crystalarcanainfo@gmail.com prior to their booking - If it is not provided, Crystal Arcana has the right to refuse hire.
Hirers are solely responsible for collecting waivers and managing liabilities for their own students, clients, or participants. Crystal Arcana accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage incurred during private hire.
- Standard Hire: 2-hour minimum per booking (includes 30 minutes bump-in + bump-out at no charge).
- Long-Term (8 weeks or more): 1-hour minimum per booking (includes 15 minutes bump-in + bump-out at no charge).
- Booking Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed once payment is received in full.
- No Refunds: Crystal Arcana does not provide refunds for any reason. Please be sure you can risk the cost.
- Credits: Cancellations made 14 days or more before the booking date will receive a credit for a future booking.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the booking date will forfeit the full payment.
- Cancellations By Us: In the rare case that Crystal Arcana must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to emergencies, building issues, power outages, government restrictions, or other unavoidable events), a full refund will be issued within seven business days. Crystal Arcana is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the hirer (including lost ticket sales, advertising, or other associated expenses).
- Crystal Arcana reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion.
Hirers are welcome to supply posters or flyers for display in the shop window at Crystal Arcana. 2 x A4 Posters are accepted and will be placed by Crystal Arcana staff in approved locations.
We are happy to consider Instagram collaboration posts & ticket links on our temple web page, provided the content aligns with our temple ethos and doesn't overwhelm our followers with too many posts (as determined solely by Crystal Arcana).
Crystal Arcana is not responsible for marketing studio hire events. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to promote, take bookings, manage registrations, and run their event.
